The material in this education pack was intended for use by teachers and pupils visiting the excavation of an Iron Age settlement at the Braehead Shopping Centre, Glasgow. This education resource pack covers "The Ancient World", one of five recommended historical areas of study. Its structure and content have been designed in line with current 5-14 curriculum guidelines. Each section of the pack provides links to the 5-14 curricular guidelines, suggested activities and pupils' activity sheets.
