Yvonne Robertson MA (Hons), PCIFA


Yvonne RobertsonSince graduating from the University of Glasgow, Yvonne has worked on a wide variety of archaeological sites throughout Scotland. She has a wide experience of field projects, ranging from excavation of prehistoric defensive and settlement sites to medieval urban archaeology. She has assisted with several walkover surveys and setting assessments, in rural and industrial areas. Since joining AOC in 2014, she has also assisted with conservation and post-excavation tasks including work done at Stirling Castle. She has conducted several watching briefs, including sites in Leith and Brechin where industrial archaeological remains were recovered. Recently, she has also been involved in the development of a website for the Burn of Whilk LiDAR survey. During her time at the University of Glasgow, Yvonne participated in the excavations of several hillforts as part of the SERF project, and she has supervised excavations at Kay Craig and Castle Law.
