Jessica McGreevy BA (Hons)
Jessica completed her degree in Archaeology and Palaeoecology with Geography from Queens University, Belfast in 2017. During her studies, she volunteered with the Centre for Archaeological Fieldwork (CAF) on several research excavations, gaining knowledge on excavation techniques.
Jessica became a field archaeologist in 2017 and has worked on a wide range of sites all over the UK, from a Neolithic settlement site in Northern Ireland to a 19th century cemetery site in London. She also has experience on linear infrastructure projects in Ireland and England and has worked on several large-scale excavations. She has been involved in environmental sample processing, which included the cataloguing of organic matter and dating materials.
Jessica joined AOC in November 2019, where she works on small to medium scale excavations, watching briefs and evaluations. She is currently undertaking a part time distance learning Masters in GIS at Ulster University.
