Heather Stewart MA (Hons)

Project Officer (Conservation)



Heather graduated from the University of Glasgow with a MA (Hons) in Archaeology in 2010. In 2014 she graduated from Durham University with an MA in The Conservation of Archaeological and Museum objects. During her studies she completed a nine month placement with York Archaeological Trust (YAT).  Prior to joining AOC in 2022, Heather worked as the Project Conservator for the Esmerelda Project, the Upper Sabina Tiberina Project and the Rooswijk Project. She also worked as a Conservation technician for the David Livingstone Trust and volunteered with the Scottish Conservation Studio. Since joining AOC, Heather has worked on a variety of excavated finds and social history objects.
