George Beardow Ma (HONS)
George graduated in 2013 from the University of Aberdeen and has been employed full time by AOC since 2017. Prior to this he worked throughout the UK for various commercial units. In this time George has worked on a range of different sites ranging in date from the prehistoric period to the post-medieval period. While at university George was involved in research excavations for the NMS at Clarkly Hill and Belladrum, and excavations at the Covsea Caves for the university of Bradford. In addition to this George has worked for commercial units in Australia on aboriginal sites.
Since working for AOC George has helped to excavate several large scale excavations, including extensive Roman remains on the Grantham Bypass and complex urban urban developments in Hull and Sheffield.
