Andy Tynan
Archaeologist
Andy joined AOC Archaeology (London) in 2011 with a background in field archaeology and human osteology. In the field Andy has worked in the south of England for AOC on sites ranging from Prehistoric to post-medieval date and from evaluation/watching briefs to full scale excavation. To date she has written pre-determination documents for clients, WSI’s and post-excavation evaluation and assessment reports. She is also experienced in geophysical survey.
Andy has a particular interest in human osteology and has worked as Assistant Osteologist on one of our largest post-medieval skeletal assemblage. She worked as a volunteer for the Centre for Human Bioarchaeology at the Museum of London for over 5 years, where she also assisted in the running workshops in association with the LAARC on their Volunteer Inclusion Programme.
