Alice Fraser Ba MSt
After volunteering with AOC at the age of 16, Alice went on to study Archaeology and Ancient History at university. During her studies, she had the opportunity to participate in archaeological projects in Hungary and throughout Greece, including the excavation of the Classical Greek city of Olynthos, and a field survey on the island of Kythera. She gained experience in both fieldwork and post-excavation, the latter experience was furthered by volunteering at the Ashmolean Museum, digitizing coins from the Heberden Coin Room, and the conservation of books from the Museum’s extensive collections.
Since joining AOC, Alice has worked on a number of rural sites across the south east of England, including the Roman town of Sandy in Bedfordshire, assisting with two successful community open days.
