STAR Monographs
To date, eight monographs have been published in this AOC series, the latest being that of Rituals, Roundhouses and Romans: Excavations at Kintore, Aberdeenshire (see above).
STAR Monographs cover many of the major excavations undertaken by AOC staff since its inception and include reports on excavations as diverse as a megalithic chambered cairn (Monograph 1), prehistoric landscapes on Arran (Monograph 2) and Lairg in Sutherland (Monograph 3), an Early Historic crannog (Monograph 4), a medieval friary (Monograph 5), and a Roman civil settlement (Monograph 7).
