AOC has always had a strong commitment to community involvement in projects wherever this has been possible.
Over the last few years we have been working in partnership with local community groups in various heritage projects across Britain. We have a specialist team, AOC Heritage, dedicated to working closely with local communities to design and deliver community heritage projects. Whether it’s initiating a new community archaeology excavation, running an education initiative, delivering a new community museum display or creating an ambitious heritage project, we provide innovative and practical solutions to heritage development.
By offering support and mentoring in the areas of project development and project management allied to advice on often complex funding processes we work with local communities to plan, develop and deliver their heritage aspirations in an ethical and sustainable way.
